Masterpieces of the Ludwig-collection, famous works from the Ancient until Warhol, from Tilman Riemenschneider until Cindy Sherman.
This beautiful show contains works which are all involved with the material human hair. The installation 'Home sweet Home' and Rapunzel are part of this show.

While it's a trent to make art with taxidermy and animals, I'll give it a try with crochetdermy with human hair.
The deer head is almost done. It will be a combination of crochet with human hair and ceramic.

Sneak preview ‘Hertenkamp’.

'Hertenkamp' will be my installation at Parksessies. This is the beginning.




New work in progress.

This work will become a little girl on a sledge wearing a huge hairy cape. Her face will start to change into a wolf. I'm knitting the cape and the face will be in the kiln next week.

Van 28 februari t/m 31 maart in het Kunstenlab in Deventer. Het project Kunstzappen 2013, ‘Gouden draden in tapijt’ is een samenwerking met Deventer Musea en Leeuwenkuil Kunstencentrum
.
Van 28 februari t/m 31 maart in de kleine zaal

 in het Kunstenlab is in het kader van het project kunstzappen een tentoonstelling te zien met kunstwerken van verschillende kunstenaars. Een tentoonstelling met kunstwerken die letterlijk verwijzen naar tapijt, maar ook kunstwerken waarin patronen of ritmes een rol spelen of kunstwerken waarin tapijt het materiaal is waarmee de kunstenaar heeft gewerkt. 
Een aantal werken wordt speciaal voor deze tentoonstelling gemaakt. De diversiteit van de kunstwerken daagt de leerlingen uit om te kijken, de werken te vergelijken en hun mening te formuleren.

I'm re-doing the Dutch Carped, so it can hang on the wall as well. Also knitting new windmills for on top.
