The Dutch are always so proud at their attitude and tolerance about foreigners living in The Netherlands. But times are changing. Political tendency at the moment are Right / Populistisch, Holland for the Dutch! After a period of inviting all kind of foreigners to come to our country to do the jobs the Dutch didn’t want to do, and give refuge to people from political dangerous countries, the new credo is “VOL IS VOL “. The Netherlands isn’t so open and solidary to foreigners any more. People are afraid for the cultures they don’t understand. This box is about the dualistic feelings people have about the different cultures coming to our country. Unknown (and different) makes Un-welcome.
